Choose the right Venetian Blind
Whatever your window style, there is a venetian blind to suit it. The horizontal slats of this blind type offer easy control of the outside light coming into the room, as they can be tilted up or downwards to deflect the rays or be completely closed to shut it out.
Available in differing slat widths, which gives options for larger windows or a greater view outside – there is plenty of choice.
Wood Venetians
With these blinds you can’t escape the beauty of real wood with the warmth of the texture and grain.
Ethically sourced from sustainable forests, Wood Venetians truly enhance any window.
Available in 25mm, 35mm and 50mm slat widths for standard painted colours and wood grain or with an enhanced gloss finish, available in 50mm slat widths only.
Faux Wood Venetians
Appearing every bit like wood, these PVC lookalikes emulate the same warmth and richness of the real thing with the added benefit of working well in moist or humid environments.
This budget-friendly option still has a great choice of textured wood tones as well as grained or flat painted colours.
The faux wood range is available in 35mm or 50mm slat widths.
Wood & Faux Wood Options
As standard, Venetians come
with colour co-ordinated control cords, valance and tassels.
To add interest, there are two woven tape options* available that can be chosen to co-ordinate or contrast with the slat colour. In a herringbone or flat weave style, these tapes can create a really unique look for blind.
If you decide that you want to cover a door with a Venetian, these blinds come with door brackets as standard, which just means the blind will move with the door and not ‘flap’ about!
*Tapes carry a surcharge.
Metal Venetians
Made from 25mm wide aluminium slats, a metal Venetian blind is a versatile and reliable option for large and small windows alike.
Easy to operate, they offer great light control during the day and a chance of some privacy at night, by tilting the slats as little or as much as you need.
In a range of décor-friendly colours including timeless white, cream and silver shades, there is also gloss or matt finishes to choose from.
Also, with a small selection of perforated slats there is the opportunity to have a metal venetian which will reduce the glare on TV or computer screens.
Metal Venetian Options
The heavy gauge aluminium used for our metal Venetians will prevent wider blinds from sagging and help them stay looking great for longer.
The blind raiser cord control will be colour co-ordinated to the slat and the slats can be tilted using a clear plastic wand for full light control.
As an added option to create uniqueness, it is possible to alternate or group together two or more coloured slats into one blind, at an additional surcharge.
Perfect Fit
A metal venetian can also be used in a Perfect Fit frame which is designed for UPVC windows and doors and can be attached without screws or power tools.
The frames are available in a number of powder coated painted finishes; white, brown anodised and anthracite as well as golden oak and mahogany.
Child Safety
The safety of children is extremely important to us. We have taken great steps to ensure all blinds are manufactured in line with industry safety guidelines. Be aware that cords are a potential strangulation hazard.
