How it works:
A concealed spring-loaded mechanism inside the headrail applies lateral pressure to hold the blind securely in place. At one end, a rectangular fitting with an anti-slip silicone pad presses against the recess wall. On the control side, a matching end cap completes the clean look. To lock the blind, simply turn the tightening tool until you hear a click—signalling a secure fit.

For our Simply Twist Roller blind, we’ve partnered with a trusted supplier whose system is already proven in the market. This allowed us to focus on seamlessly integrating it with illumin8’s extensive range of fabrics, colours, and finishes—so customers can enjoy the convenience of no-drill installation without sacrificing choice.
While the roller blind’s mechanism is slightly more visible than the Roman system, it’s designed to complement the larger control side, maintaining a balanced look in the window.
How it works:
A spring-loaded mechanism hidden inside a 38 mm roller tube applies lateral pressure to secure the blind. A circular anti-slip silicone pad at the plunger end grips the recess wall, while the control end provides matching stability. The blind locks in place by rotating the tightening wheels—inner wheel clockwise and outer wheel anticlockwise for the standard setup (reversed for left-hand control).
